A boy who is a citizen of India and who has completed 10 but not 17 years of age is eligible to become a Scout, provided he subscribes to the Scout Promise and the Scout Law and becomes a member of Scout Troop. If a Scout continues to be in the School he should be allowed to remain in the unit till he is 18 years of age.
